Creating a fully immersive brand experience for Hotel Indigo owners.

THE ASK

A highly immersive, two-day conference taking place in Old Town Alexandria, VA to bring together owners of Hotel Indigo Hotels, investors, and IHG leaders. IHG partnered with WITS’ to bring their vision to life in a memorable way.

THE SOLUTION

Executing the brand’s vision, WITS’ utilized three venues to engage and entertain conference attendees. It was important to the brand to set the tone prior to the beginning of the conference – through the conference website. WITS helped create a custom conference registration site that displayed Hotel Indigo photography and videography, and inspired attendees from the first click.

Upon arrival at the hotel, attendees were greeted by a custom display with local Old Town Alexandria treats. Down the hall, WITS’ curated a vibrant art gallery that celebrated the global footprint and new hotel openings for the brand.

The opening session and reception were hosted inside a modern, upscale restaurant situated along the Potomac River. To close the day, attendees walked to the Hotel Indigo – Old Town Alexandria for a dessert reception where guests were treated to custom-rolled cigars, and Old Fashioned cocktails with a unique twist.

To kick off Day Two, attendees were transported by old-fashioned trolleys to the George Washington Masonic Memorial for the general session. Blending the local area culture with the brand’s global presence, WITS’ engaged a local dance troupe to perform dances that were native to countries where Hotel Indigo properties are located. As the dancers performed, WITS’ used projection mapping technology to display moving hotel imagery on the walls. The combination of dance and technology allowed for a dazzling performance that set an exciting tone for the day.

To reinforce the brand messaging, WITS’ produced award-winning video content that featured a Hotel Indigo owner in El Paso, TX. The video supported the brand’s message of the importance of design, and how working with IHG-provided tools generates ROI and increases RevPAR.



The attendees were also immersed in the global footprint of the brand through an intricate food and beverage offering, highlighting global Hotel Indigo neighborhoods and cuisines. The day came to a climactic close with a celebratory champagne toast.

Throughout both days, WITS’ was there with our onsite video producer and videographer to capture the experience, editing, and posting videos while the conference was taking place. At the conclusion of the event, WITS’ produced a highlight video that was shared out to all attendees to continue the momentum and overall energy from the conference.

From imagination to realization, WITS’ managed everything from event logistics, food and beverage design, live show production, rehearsals, talent sourcing, to award-winning video production.
